A battle belt is also sometimes called a “war belt”. The battle belt is a simple and lightweight solution for carrying the most basic equipment on the field, which in most cases is enough for airsoft games. This battle belt is in practice a combat belt upgraded to fit modern times.
The Condor battle belt is well crafted, lightweight, has a very good price/quality ratio, and is really a good choice for use as such or with plate carrier. This is just an outer belt, so you will need an inner belt too, for attaching it to yourself. Wider belts equipped with quick-release, and battle belts work best as inner belts, such as Bayonet and Helikon belts with the famous Cobra buckle. However, nothing stops you from using it with a traditional trouser belt.
Improvements of the Gen 2 battle belt are in its design that enables better mobility.
A PALS webbing for attaching MOLLE-compatible pouches etc. things runs along the whole belt
The belt opens at the sides, so that thigh equipment and some dump pouches can be attached to the inner belt
The lightweight, thinly designed and well crafted belt is less in the way when moving
The inner surface is largely made of a somewhat breathable 3D mesh, and it also has three friction surfaces that prevent the belt from wobbling
The belt has 4 D-rings, on which you can attach for example a padded harness.
For an inner belt, the manufacturer recommends a 1.5”-2” wide belt (3.8-5 cm)
The belt comes in three different sizes, S (90 cm), M (99 cm) and L (107 cm). The dimensions are the lengths of the whole belt. The smaller belt is suitable for a larger person, as long as the inner belt is of the right size, while the bigger belt does not sit in a sensible way on a small person. The inner belt should be ca 20 cm larger than your waist.
