Molybdenum disulfide, better known as MoS2, is an excellent alternative e.g. when greasing the gearbox internals or other moving parts in airsoft guns. Thanks to MoS2’s chemical properties, the friction between the moving parts is sometimes even lower than when using the traditional teflon or lithium-based gear greases. That’s why it is perfectly suitable for greasing airsoft gun’s fast moving gears and other parts! The diminished friction decreases the power required to rotate the gears and might even silence their noise! Water-resistant, corrosion protection material also prevents oxidation and protects your airsoft gun’s parts from premature wearing.
The grease itself is gray/black grease whose structure resembles that of butter. The grease is suitable to use with plastic as well as with metal parts.
Where to use:
Moving parts of the gearbox (gears, axles, anti-reversal latch, piston etc.)
Moving parts of the gas gun (especially the metal parts)
Moving parts of the spring-powered guns, like the cylinder’s outer surface and charging handle
