The AirsoftPro upgrade spring with constant output is manufactured out of a similar silicon and chrome steel alloy, which is used in machines that are under long-term strain. That is why the structure and tension of the spring remains, even when exposed to harder use.
These AirsoftPro progressive upgrade springs were tested with airsoft guns and over 10 000 shots were shooted with these springs. After the test, length and power of the spring were measured and they corresponded to the starting values, which means that the spring did not lose any tension when used. Guaranteed product for every electric gun (AEG).
What is the M value in Springs?
The M value is an easily understandable classification principle for spring powers and it was originally introduced by Systema. A spring with a power classification of M100 gives, with a Marui electric gun with stock parts and a 300 mm long barrel, about 100 m/s (1.0 joules), M110 110 m/s (1.2 joules) and so on. In reality, there are some differences between different manufacturers. Many other things, like the airtightness of your gun and the inner diameter of the inner barrel, also affect the muzzle velocity, which causes the M value to not be absolutely true.
Spring power: M120
Based on our observations with AirsoftPro M100-130 upgrade springs, the true spring power is often higher than the given M-value. With an M120 spring, we have gotten muzzle energy readings of around 1.6-1.8 J, which should be taken into account when tuning your full-auto gun.
